Dual Plate Non Return Valve

A" VEECO BRAND" Dual Plate Check Valve is a type of non-return valve used to prevent backflow in a pipeline.
It allows fluid (water, air, oil, etc.) to flow in one direction only and automatically stops reverse flow.

How It Works (Working Principle)

• Inside the valve, there are two semi-circular plates (discs).
• These plates are attached to a spring mechanism.
• When fluid flows forward:
  • The plates open inward, allowing flow.
• When flow stops or reverses:
  • The spring pushes the plates back to the closed position, stopping reverse flow instantly.

This quick closing action is why it is also called a spring-loaded check valve.
